The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) is an economic immigration program that nominates people for permanent residence in Alberta. Nominees must have skills to fill job shortages or be planning to buy or start a business in Alberta. They must also be able to provide for their families. The program is run by the governments of Alberta and Canada.

The Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) is delivered in partnership between the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

The Atlantic Immigration Program is a pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from a Canadian institution who want to work and live in 1 of Canada’s 4 Atlantic provinces—New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is the province’s economic immigration program. It works in collaboration with the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is an economic immigration program that offers a pathway to permanent residency for workers, recent graduates, entrepreneurs and businesses that meet B.C.’s labour market and economic development needs. The program allows the province to select and nominate prospective immigrants through various immigration streams.

The Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program, officially the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) launched in 1998. It launched to help address economic and labour market needs through immigration to the province.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) offers three streams, with their respective pathways, through which you can immigrate to the province of Manitoba and become a permanent resident of Canada.

The Rural Community Immigration Pilot offers permanent residence (PR) to skilled workers who want to work and settle in rural and more remote communities. IRCC chose 14 communities who showed they can support and benefit from skilled migrants. They will approve certain employers to hire for jobs that they can’t fill with local workers.

The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) offers pathways to permanent residence for foreign nationals who wish to live and work, or run a business, in New Brunswick. Immigration New Brunswick (ImmigrationNB) manages the NBPNP in collaboration with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
