Specialising in LMIA's, IRB hearings, Refugee claims, Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, Most other immigration streams including Manitoba and Sakatchewan PNP.
As a single mother of two daughters, an investigative journalist, I relocated to Canada in the year 2000.
Having gone through the immigration process and having faced countless obstacles, including going in front of the IRB and federal court, I learnt first hand that immigration is not a walk in the park.
The hurry up and wait game is real. The stress, anxiety and uncertainty can kill your joy of life.
It took me several years to find my feet, financially as well as psychologically.
I watched with horror from afar, the inability of the South African government and their authorities to protect the vulnerable communities. The decision to go back to school and study immigration, to be in a position to help others relocate for the purpose of creating a safe, secure future for themselves and their families was made. My own family was not too certain that this was a good decision, but I have found my passion and they all got to eat that hat!
There are those that do not have the ease of the high scores enjoyed by others - good education, experience, financial resources and youth. These are my people. My kin. If Express Entry does not allow a viable option for you.. then there may be a route that is better suited. Provinces may offer streams that are not reliant on Express Entry and the requirements are often a tad less.
Immigration is simply not for everyone. Starting a new life requires preperation and money. It requires determination and grit. If you are determined and willing to put in the work, then I will walk the road with you.
If there is absolutely no way that you will be able to relocate to Canada, I will not lead you on. I will tell you upfront, before a retainer service agreement is signed and paid for.
That being said, there is never a guarantee of success, the decision lies firmly in the hands of the Canadian Government - IRCC and or ESDC, but my promise to you that I will cross every t and dot every i fighting dragons on your behalf. Book a consult, do the assessment. The only way to follow a dream is to get moving. Watching from the sidelines does not teach you to swim.

Shannon Barry
Shannon’s interest in immigration began with her own journey relocating from South Africa to Canada. While preparing her family’s application herself, she quickly came to appreciate both the complexity of the process and the level of organization and attention to detail it requires. What began as a personal experience soon developed into a genuine interest in the field.
After arriving in Canada in February 2022, Shannon began working in immigration services, where she assisted with preparing applications and supporting clients as they navigate the process. Her focus is on keeping files organized, ensuring documentation is complete, and helping bring clarity to what can often feel like an overwhelming journey.
Having experienced immigration firsthand, Shannon understand the patience and persistence it requires. She take pride in helping people move forward with confidence while working toward building a new life in Canada.
Back home in South Africa there is a word for that kind of perseverance and tenacity,” Vasbyt,” hold on and push through until the goal is reached! Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, making the most of family time whenever she can. You will often find Shannon and her family taking walks along the lake, getting out for fresh air, or heading off on road trips to explore more of this beautiful country and everything it has to offer.
Special thanks to Matrixvisa Inc. for the mentorship and practical experience Shannon have gained over the past several years. She is genuinely grateful for the trust they have placed in her and for giving her the chance to grow. Collaborating with licensed professionals and supporting clients throughout their immigration process has greatly shaped the direction Shannon continues to pursue today. As she sets out to embrace her new journey, Shannon carries these experiences with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead.
